9 Best Ways To Build Trust In A Relationship To Enjoy Your Love Endlessly

Everyone desires to have a healthy, loving and long-lasting relationship with the right person by their side. But only a handful of people succeed in achieving it while the rest end up in breakup or divorce. In order to have a successful relationship, there are some fundamental things that couples must have. Among those few things, TRUST acts as one of the key elements for any relationship to succeed.

9 Best Ways To Build Trust In A Relationship To Enjoy Your Love Endlessly

Lack of trust topples down even the best of the relationships within a jiffy. This is why it is very important to build trust in a relationship.

Of course, love is important as well but no relationship can exist without trust.

To be more specific, the factor called ‘Trust’ plays a crucial role in relationships. A relationship without trust is like a human body without life.

Ultimately, Trust has the power to make or break your relationship.

Trust is the foundation and root of every relationship.

Trust, in the simplest terms, is the firm belief that you have for someone or something.

In a relationship, trust is something where you give yourself completely to that someone and believe that – No matter what may come, they will always remain loyal to you and love you till the end.

Further, trust is something that is to be earned and not given.

Trust is a very delicate thing like glass that should be handled very carefully. Even if you do a slight mistake, it can break your relationships into pieces.

And once broken, trust is very difficult to repair or rebuild. Hence, it has to be guarded carefully with utmost care.

On the other hand, trust can be compared to an eraser that gets smaller with every mistake. Therefore, it should be constantly nurtured with care and attention to sustain a relationship through ups and downs of life.

We know - To construct a building we need a strong foundation. The purpose of a foundation is to hold up the entire structure above it and keep it upright.

If your foundation is weak, then your building can collapse at any moment.

Thus the strength of the building lies in its foundation.

The Same applies for a relationship as well.

Trust acts like a basic foundation in any relationship without which your building called ‘Relationship’ will collapse any moment.

Stronger the trust, deeper the relationship.

Hence, building trust is very important to make your relationship last.

Trust is a powerful tool that commands immense influence over relationships at all points of time.

Also Trust, when mutually reciprocated, enhances the strength of relationships to a great extent.

Trust exhibited with consistency through the ups and downs of time acts as the binding factor that fosters relationships.

Relationships with high levels of mutual trust survive the test of time even in tough situations.

Trust, thus, acts as the fundamental necessity for a relationship to survive while breaking it kills the relationship altogether.

Trust increases the love they share with each other while a lack of trust fosters hatred among all concerned.

Henceforth, Trust can be termed as the basis for any relationship to succeed.

For this reason, it becomes very important to build trust in a relationship.

Although, as mentioned earlier, many strong relationships survive only because of trust, Trust cannot be built overnight in a relationship.

Different couples take different speeds to build trust in a relationship.

It is of utmost importance that we need to understand the ways to build trust in a relationship. Likewise, we also need to understand the drops of poison that can kill relationships slowly.

There are, in fact, certain things that we do knowingly or unknowingly that makes our relationship difficult in the first place.

Let us look at some tactical ways to mend these mistakes and build trust in the relationship.

1. Be Honest

Never ever be dishonest in a relationship when you want it to last long.

Dishonesty is a string that pulls you away from your beloved ones snapping your throat as well as theirs.

Being dishonest will never help you at all points of time.

When time exposes your falsity, your dishonesty will kill your relationship in an unexpected way.

Remember, honesty is something that you would want the other person sharing the relationship with you to exhibit. In similar way, it is only natural for them to expect equal levels of honesty from you too.

Be fair to your commitment to the relationship as much as you want the other person to be.

Honesty is that virtue that creates positive energy in your relationships by fostering love at all points of time.

When you are really honest in a relationship, you never hurt the other person due to the love you exhibit for them.

When you do not hurt, you save a lot of time and energy for yourself and the other person concerned.

Therefore, being honest is the best way to build trust in a relationship, making it withstand the test of time throughout one’s lifetime.

2. Be Transparent

Transparency in communication helps avoid many relationship issues most of the times.

When you communicate with people openly, it automatically complements your honest nature.

Your words, body language, and cues sent out during the communication process must display honesty purely.

Communication is a key tool that establishes astonishing relationships over long periods of time.

Communicating the right things at the right timing in the right way helps to keep relationships in an intact manner.

Ensure you communicate all that happens in your life transparently to the person you value the most.

At the same time, listen as much as you communicate since the other person involved in the relationship might have things to share with you.

When you hear what they say in a sincere manner, the trust levels involved in the relationship remains strong.

Ensure that communication in your relationship is two way and hence, must never be left half-baked anytime.

Remember, secrets spoil the texture of relationships. So, make sure you do not hide anything from the other person who shares the relationship with you.

When secrets exist, relationships cease to exist.

3. Stay true to your words

Just words do not makeup relationships. True relationships are made up of emotions and actions.

The words we speak in the relationship can either kindle emotions or lead to actions that may activate mental states.

If you truly care for your relationship, use words that will not hurt the other person or lead to emotional distress.

Speak with honesty. However, ensure that your honesty does not turn out to be a brutal one through the usage of wrong words.

Use only such words that would help you build trust in a relationship instead of sabotaging it.

Another important point to remember is that use only words that you can emphasize through your actions.

Particularly, when you are looking for long-term connectivity in relationships, it is important that you do what you speak.

When you create an impression in the minds of people involved in the relationship that you never do what you speak, your relationship is at stake. This one reason is enough to dig a deep grave for your relationship to rest for the remaining period of your lifetime.

False promises convert the relationship into a fake one and fail to build trust in a relationship.

Therefore, get into the habit of speaking only what you can do. Do what you speak.

4. Turn vulnerability into your strength

A vulnerability is that quality in a person which is considered more as a weakness in normal circumstances.

Managing relationships does happen as a part of our day to day life.

Be a child that is not afraid of showing out its vulnerabilities to people around it.

Being vulnerable in relationships that you consider important makes you look beautiful and innocent.

The honesty displayed when you exhibit your vulnerability increases the love that prevails by multi-fold levels. This is a crucial aspect to build trust in a relationship.

By doing so, you will never feel uncomfortable to show out your vulnerability to your closed ones.

The mutual love you share in the relationship will matter more than your feeling of discomfort.

However, if you feel uncomfortable to show out your vulnerability to others in the relationship, you really do not value that relationship as much as you think.

Hence, make vulnerability your strength when it comes to fostering relationships.

Vulnerability turns out to become beautiful when the relationship is filled with love and honesty.

Use vulnerability to build trust in relationships rather than considering it as your weakness.

5. Quality time is a qualifier

Time acts as a major factor when it comes to building long-lasting relationships.

The more time you spend with each other, the more understanding prevails between the two of you.

If you are a person for whom speed matters the most, you may sacrifice many relationships whose foundation takes a longer time to be laid.

Patience is the key when it comes to building as well as fostering relationships.

Spending as much time as possible with each other is the key to build trust in the relationship.

Love may start with the eyes gazing at the inner and outer beauty in a mutual manner. However, trust blossoms when the world is witnessed by the same eyes together sharing the same wavelength.

Spend time with each other. Talk about mutual interests.

Enjoy the company of all those relationships you feel happy being with. Show them your true self and try to understand them in all their originality.

Appreciate their strengths in all sincerity.

Remember, spending quality time with each other helps build trust in a relationship very easily.

6. Never pass on the bug

The whole point of the article to make you realize that relationships are based on mutual trust.

Hence, take responsibility for your actions and inactions.

When you do this, both respect as well as the trust levels that others have in you will raise up to great altitudes.

When you deny to take responsibility for your actions, the trust levels that the other person in the relationship have in you diminishes to deterrent levels.

Successful relationships highly depend on the level of ownership taken by all involved in a relationship.

When you try to pass on the bug to the other, you are simply letting them down emotionally.

Emotional disasters tend to lower the dependability quotient on one another.

When dependability levels lower down, the trust factor takes a beating. Gradually, this leads to breakage in the relationship.

When you are seriously interested to build trust in a relationship, you must take ownership for your actions and inactions.

Take responsibility for each and every word that you utter.

Avoid getting into the habit of passing on the bug to the others involved in the relationship since this causes frustration and disbelief.

Frustration leads to total destruction of trust.

At this stage, it turns out very hard to rebuild trust in the relationship.

7. Put yourselves in their shoes

Sometimes building trust is simply a matter of treating the person you love in a way you expect them to treat you.

Understand that they too have feelings and expectations as you have yours. Then act as you would want them to treat you.

Trust can be built only when you understand and respect each other’s feelings.

8. Accept the mistakes

Nothing builds trust in the relationship more than accepting your mistakes.

There isn’t a perfect partner or perfect relationship on this planet.

We are all bound to screw up, and that’s okay!

When you make mistakes intentionally or accidentally, apologize to your partner and let him/her know how sorry you are.

9. Appreciate, Forgive and Forget

Relationships are meant to be pampered.

Relationships which don’t get celebrated fail to cross the winning mark any day.

Learn to appreciate the positives in your relationship.

Use positive words to reinforce the strength of others involved in the relationship with you instead of criticizing with negative words.

Forgive their follies and do not make a mountain out of a mole.

Forget all that disturbed the relationship but never forget the lesson you learned from those episodes.

These are the lessons you need to keep in mind for a lifetime and more so you continue to build trust in a relationship all throughout the span

Life is not always cupcakes and rainbows.

In reality, most relationships in life go through hell at one point of time or the other.

While a major percentage of relationships sinks due to lack of trust, relationships that possess strong trust factor survive even the worst storm and sail through hard winds.

There may come times when the two hearts that tried very sincerely to be one get hurt a lot.

But, Thanks to the high levels of faithfulness exhibited by people involved in it.

Building trust requires equal amounts of dedication and effort from both the person concerned.

Trust maybe fragile but it is capable enough to grow stronger over time.

However, if you have been hurt or deceived in the past, it may take a longer time to build trust. But if you love that person truly and if they also love you the same way, then it’s worth trying.

Relationships remain strong through ups and downs in life when its basement is laid on trust.

Build trust in a relationship by focusing on the nuts and bolts of it and enjoy the happiness it radiates all around.
8 Habits That Really Make The Relationship Strong

8 Habits That Really Make The Relationship Strong

In our day-to-day lives, work, school, and other stressors can make it hard to maintain a strong relationship like when they first started. It can be a struggle to get a relationship back in the place that you want it to be. “Well, it seems to me that the best relationships – the ones that last – are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship.” – Gillian Anderson But like Nicholas Sparks mentioned, “Every couple needs to argue now and then. Just to prove that the relationship is strong enough to survive. Long-term relationships, the ones that matter, are all about weathering the peaks and the valleys.” Luckily, there are plenty of things that can help strengthen a relationship and keep the feeling of love steady and strong. It’s the little things that really help build up a relationship. Sure, you need the strong foundations to start off with, but the smaller things help build up a relationship and keep it strong.

8 Habits That Really Make The Relationship Strong

1. CHECK UP ON EACH OTHER

When you both make it a habit to check in on one another, it can really help strengthen the feeling of love between you. Couples who call one another after a long day at work to see how they’re feeling, or send a text to make sure that they made it home okay after a long journey, will have a better connection and feel taken care of by one another. It’s such a small thing, but it can really make a world of difference.

2. LAUGHING TOGETHER
A couple who can share a sense of humor and laugh together will form all kinds of emotional bonds that can help keep the relationship running strong. Psychologist Doris Bazzini, Ph.D. says, “Laughter reminiscence packs an additional punch because people relive the moment by laughing again.” Whether you decide to sit down with a funny movie, or just an evening of watching funny YouTube videos, laughing together is important. Once a couple laughs together, their brains will be wired to associate each other with happiness and laughter.

3. SHARING IS CARING
Whether it’s just your feelings, or emotional and traumatic things from your past, learning to share with your partner can make your relationship that much stronger. Couples who feel as if they can tell one another anything will have a stronger relationship than couples who are afraid to be vulnerable with one another. Strength comes from being able to trust one another, and couples who can share will have a strong and lasting relationship.

4. GOOD LISTENING SKILLS
Everyone wants to feel heard when they talk, so having good listening skills is important in any relationship. Everyone should be able to listen openly when their partner speaks. Letting your partner know that you’re listening to their feelings, fears or concerns will help make it easier for them to trust you. With trust, comes strength in any relationship. Couples who are good at listening to one another will have a lasting, strong relationship.

5. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY
Being completely honest will help keep the relationship strong, even if it’s not something that your partner wants to hear. Couples who are able, to be honest about how they’re feeling, what they’re thinking and their opinions on certain topics are able to keep their relationship strong despite all of it. “What honesty gives you is a great deal of comfort. Knowing you can implicitly trust your mate allows you to be your best self, and your relationship will continue to thrive because you are able to give each other the positive energy you need to navigate life’s ups and downs,” says psychotherapist, syndicated columnist, and radio host Barton Goldsmith Ph.D. It’s important to be able to trust that your partner is going to be honest with you, no matter what.

6. GIVING IN TO IMPULSE
Being spontaneous helps make sure that the relationship doesn’t fall into a rut. If you want to get in the car and take a vacation one town over for the weekend, do it! If you want to make random plans, follow through! “Over time, it’s inevitable that life falls into a pattern of routine and “same old, same old.” It’s easy to fall into behaviors that are reliable, steady, and boring as well. So it’s important to change it up from time to time to alter our thinking, provide a new perspective, and create interest and excitement,” says psychiatrist Abigail Brenner M.D. Couples will have a strengthened relationship when they’re able to go with the flow and give in to their impulses.

7. TAKE MENTAL NOTES
Remembering the things that your partner likes and dislikes will mean that you’re paying close attention to your partner. Then, you’ll be able to show them that you’ve paid attention by giving them the things that they enjoy and avoiding the things they don’t. Couples who are able to focus on one another and take mental notes to remember the important things will always have a strong relationship together..

8. TEASING ONE ANOTHER
Nothing has to be serious all the time! Couples should be able to know when to give in and tease one another – especially if it means cheering one another up. Knowing when enough is enough is an important part of being able to tease one another. Couples with a strong relationship will know when to stop teasing – but the teasing itself will help keep the relationship strong.

What Your Sleeping Position Says About Your Relationship

What Your Sleeping Position Says About Your Relationship

YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE KNOWN THIS BUT YOUR SLEEPING POSITION CAN ACTUALLY SERVE AS A REALLY GOOD GAUGE AS TO WHERE YOUR RELATIONSHIP STANDS.

What Your Sleeping Position Says About Your Relationship

When you are in a romantic relationship with someone, you are always going to want to make sure that you pay attention to all the littlest details. You want to make it a point that nothing gets by you in the relationship.

You don’t want to be taking your relationship for granted in any capacity. You want to be giving the relationship your full attention. You want to make sure that you are giving the entirety of yourself to this relationship.

And that means really taking notice of all the little things. Remember that the devil is in the details.

If you are really going to stay on top of things in the relationship, you need to really be paying attention to even the most mundane things.

Did you even know that the manner in which you and your partner sleep in bed at night can tell a lot about the dynamics of your relationship? Well, it does.

And if you want some signs into whether you are doing good or bad in the relationship, you might want to take a look into your sleeping positions and patterns.

1. THE CLIFF HANGER
With the cliffhanger, you are both on the opposite sides of the bed. It’s as if you’re both hanging on the edge of the cliff with the way that you’re straddling the edges of your bed.

You are creating a lot of space and distance between the two of you while you sleep. And that could be a sign that there is a certain sense of emotional distance between the two of you in the relationship.

Make sure that you are able to close that off as you move forward in the relationship.

2. THE CRAB
The crab position is when the two of you engage in two very different positions that just don’t make any symmetric sense in the relationship.

When this is the position you are in while you sleep, then that could indicate a lack of intimacy between the two of you. It’s as if one of you is trying to get away from the other. And that can never be a good sign in any kind of relationship at all.

3. SHINGLES
The shingles position is one of the sweeter and more intimate sleeping positions that a couple could have in bed. It’s when one person rests their head on the other person’s shoulder.

What this means is that the person whose head is resting is someone who is dependent and reliant on the other partner. And the one whose shoulder is being used as a headrest is a listener and nurturer.

4. PILLOW TALK
This is a very simple position and it’s actually one that a lot of couples engage in. It’s merely when two people sleep in a position that enables them to be facing one another without necessarily touching.

This means that the level of communication in the relationship is very strong and that they have no problems with just opening up to one another. You should be proud of your communication game if this is how you sleep with your partner.

5. HOLLYWOOD
This is a rather cliché sleeping position and it’s usually one that new and young couples tend to partake in. It’s the classic “Hollywood” style of a sleeping position that you would see couples in movies be locked in.

t’s when the man is usually spread out on his back as he lets his woman rest on his chest as they drift off into a deep slumber with one another.

6. THE LOVER’S KNOT
The Lover’s Knot is clearly a position that indicates intimacy and closeness in the relationship. It’s when two people lock their legs and intertwine them in some kind of knot for a considerable amount of time until both people fall asleep.

This is also a sign of very high sexual activity between two people.

7. SPOON (WOMAN OVER MAN)
When the man is living on the inside of a spoon position, it means that he seeks a lot of love, care, patience, and understanding from his woman. He might feel a little broken and damaged. He might need a little healing.

8. SPOON (MAN OVER WOMAN)
When the man is on the outside of a spoon position, it means that he is being possessive, territorial, protective, and nurturing of his woman. He wants to make sure that no harm is going to come of her or the relationship as a whole.

9. CHERISH
This is when couples sleep facing away from one another with both of their backs touching. This means that both people in the relationship feel comfortable, relaxed, and trusting.

You might not have known this but your sleeping position can actually serve as a really good gauge as to where your relationship stands.
8 Crystal Clear Signs That Prove Your Relationship Is Pure

8 Crystal Clear Signs That Prove Your Relationship Is Pure

No relationship is a perfect one from the word go. Two seemingly similar individuals may share a tumultuous equation, whereas two people who are as different as chalk and cheese may have found the right key to a harmonious relationship. But perfection is not what one should seek from when in a relationship. On the contrary, it should be a continuous journey towards maintaining a fine balance; of reaching a point where both partners are able to meet at the middle path. Differences in a relationship may arise due to various factors; however, instead of letting these small issues affect your relationship, focus on signs that bring out the purity of your relationship. Here are 8 crystal clear signs that’ll tell you (if you haven’t noticed them already) that your relationship is pure and meant to last!

8 Crystal Clear Signs That Prove Your Relationship Is Pure

1. Being Your Vulnerable Self

Any relationship is at its best when you reach a point where you trust your partner enough to completely let your guard down. It is easier to be happy during happier times, but difficult to smile during the storms, which can only happen where there is pure love. The purity of your love comes to the fore when one of you is totally down in the dumps and the other person stands by your side with rock-solid support.

2. Straightforward Opinions

You both may differ in many aspects, but will also put in honest efforts to accommodate each other in your respective lives, as well as live up to each other’s expectations. However, neither of you enforces that on the other – both of you eventually do it out of respect for each other as a person.

4. The Language Of Silence

There may be days where both of you may not converse with each other for hours, despite being at an arm’s length, yet there’ll be a sense of peace and calm in whatever you do. Be it relaxing during a lazy Sunday, enjoying a cup of coffee in a random corner of the house, or simply going about your daily household routine – the absence of words isn’t awkward at all!

5. A Better Version Of Yourself

Have you been surprised, of late, at the number of occasions your short-tempered-self has managed to remain calm, when you could have easily lost it instead? Or the number of chores you’ve handled all by yourself? If you’ve been discovering a new side to you, a side that is far more patient, independent, and capable of taking responsibilities, then you owe it to your relationship. It’s only when two people are truly in love that they eventually imbibe these qualities to maintain their relationship – which means the world to them.

6. The Child In You

You don’t think twice before you jump into that puddle, smear cake into each other’s face or fight over a board game. When you are at ease with doing things with your partner that are otherwise considered child-like, it speaks volumes about the purity of your relationship.

7. The Unspoken Words

Everything in a relationship need not necessarily be spelled out. When you begin to understand each other’s needs and necessities even before being asked for, then your relationship has reached the level of maturity required to strengthen it further.

8. A Respectable Space

This is the biggest sign of the purity of your love, where you both don’t try to step into each other’s space and understand the fact that pursuing your dreams and ambitions will never rob you of your love. You may not be able to dedicate as much time to each other as you’d wish, but also accept that a part of one will continue to remain with the other despite the lapses. We are sure that you are already able to relate to some or most of these signs. However, these signs are not necessarily a yardstick to measure a great relationship. Every relationship has different dynamics; but love, patience, and understanding lie at the core of each one.

9 Signs You're Too Good For Your Partner

9 Signs You're Too Good For Your Partner

Dating is rough. Nowadays there are a thousand distractions for every relationship out there, and it can be hard to know whether or not the relationship you're in is the right relationship for you. People date the wrong people all the time. People date people who aren't good enough for them all the time. But reading the signs you're too good for your partner can be difficult. Nobody wants to believe they're in a relationship that's not going to work out. Even fewer people want to feel like they've been wasting their time in their relationship. But at the end of the day, that's just a risk you take while navigating the wild world of dating.

9 Signs You're Too Good For Your Partner

Though it seems like millennials are doing relationships differently than generations past, there's still plenty of room for error. And plenty of people out there in the world that you're just not meant to be in a relationship with. Out of billions of people in the world, it can be daunting to think about finding the perfect person. Which is why society today practically begs people to settle down with what's in front of them, so the propensity of winding up in a relationship that's not great for you is higher than ever. Still, it can be hard to recognize. In order to avoid these pitfalls, read on.

1. Your Partner Has No Motivation

If your partner doesn't have very much ambition or motivation, you're in the wrong relationship. Without goals or direction in their lives, you've already outgrown your partner in maturity and potential, which will only cause a bigger rift down the road. Seek out a partner who's just as motivated as you are, and you'll find that you make a much better match.

2. Your Partner Doesn't Meet You Halfway

Compromise is key when it comes to healthy relationships, and if your partner doesn't even bother meeting you halfway, you're in for trouble. From pitching in, to family holidays, to daily chores, a relationship is about compromise, and about making things work for the both of you. Not just making it work for your partner.

3. You Often Feel Like A Parent

Are you constantly nagging? Doing simple things for your partner that they should really be able to do for themselves? If you feel like your partner's mother, you need to reassess your relationship and responsibilities. Your partner should be your equal, not another human being that relies on you for handouts.

4. Your Partner Doesn't Keep Their Word

If you're in a relationship with someone who has a hard time keeping their word — whether it's cancelling plans or following through on to-do lists — you're definitely wasting your time. Everyone cancels plans every once in a while. Everybody gets the procrastination bug here and there. But if your partner is a constant repeat offender? It's time to talk about it with your partner.

5. Your Partner Doesn't Support You

This should be a no-brainer, but if your partner doesn't support you in your hopes, dreams, aspirations, or even just when you're having a hard time, then your partner is much too low on the totem pole for you. Your partner either needs to step up to the plate, or head out the door.

6. You're Constantly Making Excuses For Your Partner

If you find yourself constantly making excuses for your partner to your pals, your co-workers, and even yourself, then you're much too good for them. You should be proud of your relationship and your partnership, not searching for another excuse as to why they couldn't attend the company dinner... Again.

7. Your Friends And Family Aren't Impressed

Your friends and family are the people who know you best, and a general air of disappointment around your partner means you're way too good for your partner. Your family and friends won't necessarily get along with everyone you bring into your life, but they certainly know you, and they definitely want the best for you. Trust in them.

8. Your Partner Doesn't Value Your Opinion

If your partner doesn't value your opinion, your partner doesn't value you. And respect is paramount in any relationship, especially in a romantic relationship. You should feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and ideas with your partner. And if your partner doesn't think much of your thoughts and ideas? You're much to good for your partner.

9. You Often Feel Let Down

If you feel let down constantly by your partner then you need to reevaluate your relationship. Regardless of your expectations, you should be in a relationship that far exceeds them. A partner who is good enough for you will rise to the occasion, every time.

5 Morning Habits For Building A Happy Relationship

5 Morning Habits For Building A Happy Relationship

Here are 5 things to do every morning for maintaining the health and the romance in your relationship. I do them all, and I know they work. Give them a chance to work for you too.

5 Morning Habits For Building A Happy Relationship

Happy Relationship Habit 1: Kiss And Hug Your Loved One For At Least A Minute

Every morning find the time to reconnect with each other. That simple morning habit could rebuild your relationship from the ashes.

The physical touch early in the day will open your hearts and help you keep in mind that you aren’t alone. The mornings shouldn’t be about rushing through the bathroom and drinking hot coffee while trying to wake up your tired mind and body.

A simple hug for a minute will give you that feeling that everything’s fine and will calm you down.

Happy Relationship Habit 2: Do Something For Each Other

Every morning I prepare the coffee for my partner and me, and sometimes a small breakfast if he wants to have it.

On the weekends, he is the one doing these things for me.

The act of care and service toward each other is one of the 5 love languages you or your partner might speak. If that’s true, doing small things for each other will make your relationship thrive in a matter of days.

In a world of selfishness and “me, me, me” be different and give instead of taking.

Happy Relationship Habit 3: Say The Magic Words

Look into your loved one’s eyes and tell them you love them.

Never underestimate the power of these words. I know many people believe that the more you say these words, the less meaning they have every time.

I disagree.

The secret is that you must mean it with your whole heart and look into the other’s eyes while saying them. Your soul speaks to his soul through your eyes, and that’s what makes “I love you!” special every single time.

Happy Relationship Habit 4: Make Them Smile

We enjoy a healthy amount of humour in our relationship with my fiancée. That’s one of the things that help us survive waking up at 2:30 almost every morning.

Find reasons to smile and laugh together every morning, no matter what. It not only boosts up your mood but helps you share a happy moment together. People who laugh together stay together.

Happy Relationship Habit 5: Call Your Partner Later In The Morning

So, you are both off to work.

Don’t forget each other.

Ladies, send him a message he really wants to receive.

Guys, call her to see how the morning goes and to tell her you’re thinking about her.

It won’t take you longer than a few minutes, but it adds up to a happy relationship you will both enjoy.

Simple Habits Conclusion

Yes, I already said the habits are small and truth is, you shouldn’t do the impossible every day to prove your partner you love them.

The beauty of a healthy relationship is that the little things add up over time and create true happiness.

Love requires a lot, yet the only thing that it really needs is care and attention to the details.

3. Cease fire

All spouses like to argue and impose their opinions. However, this does not make any sense, because everyone has his own opinion. So, your partner can’t understand some things in the capacity you can. Be wiser and succumb to your partner!

4. On taste and color of the comrade is not present

Everyone has their own choices and tastes and it’s simply normal to have likes and dislikes. Do not blame him for his choices and tastes, if you want a strong and happy relationship. You must respect your partner’s preferences!

5. Comparison

This is a gross mistake to compare your partner with someone else! Don’t compare his lack of a sense of humor or his lack of self-esteem with that of a friend. Such actions can lead you to a divorce! Be wiser and keep your mouth shut!

6. Communication

Your relationship needs communication to keep it strong and healthy! You should always discuss all the problems with your partner. Lack of communication can lead you to collapse in the relationship. Talk, talk and talk again!

7. Your relationship is all you need

You should spend as much time as possible together. Balance your friendship and work with your relationship. Engage in activities which involve both of you instead of just you. Just remember that your partner needs your attention and you!

8. Keeping score

The most common mistake is keeping score, which has devastating effects. Both of you must give each other some things and do not demand in return. You and your partner are on one team!

7 Silent Killers That Can Lead To Divorce In Relationships

People get divorced for all kinds of different reasons. More often than not, it’s the little things that add up and lead to the decline of the relationship. According to experts, most couples that get divorced have a few silent relationship killers in common.

7 Silent Killers That Can Lead To Divorce In Relationships

According to Dr. John Gottman, couples are pretty much doomed to fail if they have any of the following four traits: stonewalling, sarcasm, contempt and criticism. He called these “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.” Out of the four, Dr. Gottman identified contempt as the number one predictor of divorce.

While licensed professional counselor, E.J. Smith, tells Bustle that the other three “horsemen” can also be problematic, contempt is by far the most damaging. “When people start to look at their spouse with contempt or resentment, it colors the lens through which we see, observe and interpret our spouse,” Smith says. “Its presence undermines the desire to continue to work at our relationships. Even gestures and behaviors that could be seen as positive can be twisted in such a way that they’re seen as negative.”

Unlike major things like cheating, these types of relationship ruiners aren’t easy to spot. It’s important to be aware of them before it’s too late to do anything about it. So here are some silent relationship killers that almost always leads to divorce, according to experts.

1. Conflict Avoidance
PhD, clinician and owner of Tech Talk Therapy, tells Bustle, “Avoiding conflict is a silent relationship killer because it prevents the opportunity for addressing conflict to take place.” When you aren’t addressing conflicts, you’re allowing the negativity to fester. The important thing here is to learn how to deal with conflict in the right way. “Not learning these skills is a sure way kill your relationship silently,” she says.

2. Invalidating Emotions
This is a tough one to avoid because it sometimes happens without you realizing it. For instance, if your partner says they’re cold but you aren’t, it’s easy to say, “It’s not that cold” without thinking anything of it. But little offhanded remarks like this can add up. As Dr. Omari says, you may not mean to be offensive. But if your partner sees it that way, it’s going to be a problem. “When a person feels invalidated, they often feel disconnected and unheard,” she says. “These two characteristics combined, will definitely work to deteriorate a relationship quickly.”

3. Unresolved Trauma
Everyone enters into a relationship with baggage. But failing to deal with baggage or past trauma can hurt your relationship without you realizing it. “When a person suffers from trauma that remains unresolved, they’re often incapable of living their lives without responding to some form of triggers related to that trauma,” Dr. Omari says. For instance, if you’ve been cheated on in the past, your partner going away for a work trip might cause you to become worried, anxious, and insecure. So instead of letting your partner do their own thing, you’ll feel the need to check up on them and stay in constant contact. Dealing with past trauma isn’t always easy to do by yourself. Therapy can be helpful in this case.

4. Resentment
“Unhealed resentments in a relationship can be a death knoll for a break-up,” Christine Scott-Hudson, licensed psychotherapist and owner of Create Your Life Studio, tells Bustle. Resentment can show in many different forms. Your partner may keep bringing up the past, they may be passive-aggressive, sarcastic, or snarky about certain topics. When there’s resentment in the relationship, it usually means there’s not enough open and honest communication. If you’re going to make your marriage last, communication is essential.

5. White Lies About Money
As a divorce lawyer, Russell D. Knight tells Bustle that divorces are caused by financial issues more than anything else. “Many couples keep their finances separate,” he says. “Not surprisingly, this does not bring couples closer together.” If one person is a spender and the other is a saver, you’re going to have fights. When one person hides their finances and the other finds out, it’s going to lead to trust issues. If your marriage is going to work, being on the same page financially from day one will help you avoid seeking out a divorce attorney.

6. Stonewalling
Stonewalling is another one of Dr. Gottman’s “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.” According to licensed professional counselor, Dr. LaWanda N. Evans, stonewalling happens when a person withdraws or shuts down during a conversation or argument. “They emotionally or mentally close themselves off from their partner due to being physiologically flooded or agitated to the point where they can’t discuss an issue respectfully,” Evans says. You can’t solve problems when one person isn’t making an effort to do so.

7. Change
Ideally, you and your partner will continue to grow together as time goes on. But that isn’t always the case. Some people change and find out they’ve outgrown their partner or the relationship. Divorce attorney, Melissa Fecak, Esq., tells Bustle that she sees this a lot with older couples who are retired. “When they were working, the differences that developed were harder to detect,” she says. “Now that the distractions from the relationship are no longer present, it becomes more apparent that they don’t have as much in common as they once thought or they changed their opinions on how they want to handle things moving forward.” Change is inevitable. If both partners aren’t changing and moving forward in the same direction, it’s not going to work.
It’s important to pay close attention to these relationship killers because they start off pretty subtle. Chances are, you won’t even realize these are doing any harm until you find yourself with nothing but negative feelings towards your partner. Being mindful of these subtle things can help you avoid divorce.
